Mexico Tourism Board Names New CEO

The Mexico Report travel blog would like to cordially welcome Lourdes Berho to the Mexico tourism family.

Lourdes Berho has been named Mexico Tourism Board’s new CEO, according to Travel Weekly. Berho replaces Rodolfo Lopez Negrete, who announced his retirement last month.

Berho was chosen by Mexico’s Minister of Tourism, Enrique de la Madrid, and approved by Mexico’s president Enrique Peña Nieto.  She is the founder of Alchemia, a marketing and communication agency focused on travel and tourism, innovation and sustainability. Her appointment is set to begin July 1, 2016.
