San Diego Travel & Adventure Show Returns Jan 16-17, 2016

San Diego Travel & Adventure Show will feature celebrity travel speakers, destination and travel experts and leading chefs offering seminars

The 3rd annual San Diego Travel & Adventure Show is where travel lovers come for travel inspiration and insight, expert information, celebrity speakers, and authentic cultural interaction. In addition to meeting with hundreds of travel experts representing thousands of destinations in the expo, the event also features an expanded educational program that spans five theaters.

Guests will learn about exciting locations from experts who will advise where to visit and when to book a trip. Taste of Travel and Global Beats Theaters enable attendees to experience new cultures through their unique cuisine and song and dance.

Editorial Director of the Frommer Guides and Publisher of Frommers.com, Pauline Frommer, is the nationally syndicated radio talk show host of “The Travel Show.” Frommer has recently released her top travel destinations and travel trends for 2016 – attendees will hear her recommendations first hand at the San Diego Travel & Adventure Show!

Emmy Award-Winning Investigative Reporter, Producer, and CBS News Travel Editor, Peter Greenberg, is America’s most recognized, honored, and respected front-line travel news journalist. Greenberg will be sharing cutting-edge travel information in his new presentation “The Brave New World of Travel.”

Wayne and Pat Dunlap, award winning travel bloggers, will be sharing their pro tips for traveling around the world on a budget. Their unique strategies can be used for all levels of travel, from budget to luxury, to cut your travel expenses in half. In the Taste of Travel Theater attendees will learn how to craft dishes bursting with flavor and tradition from an impressive line-up of chefs offering dishes as unique as their origin. Learn about the simplistic elegance that inspires the authentic Italian dishes created by Chef Accursio Lota, of Solare Restaurant Lounge, as he shares his traditional family-taught method of making Ravioli di Spinaci e Ricotta alla Siciliana. Travel to Thailand as you learn how to make Khao Soi, a Northern Thai curry noodle from Chef Kay of Thai Society Restaurant. The San Diego Travel & Adventure Show will take place Saturday, January 16th from 10 am until 5 pm and Sunday, January 17th, from 11 am to 4 pm in Hall B at the San Diego Convention Center, 111 West Harbor Drive in San Diego.
